About 

I was born and raised in California (and lived there for the first 35 years of my life). If you had told this California kid that I would be living in Minnesota, I never would have believed you! But, my family and I have definitely found a home here. My partner and I even ran a 5K on Valentine's Day when the temperature was 1 ℉. When I'm not teaching about Psychology at Macalester College or studying identity development, I enjoy spending time with my family, exercising, cooking, and supporting the greatest sports franchise ever (Go Lynx)!
